The Balrog
As we were all running away from the Orcs in Mines of Moria.
We came across these deadly stairs, we kept running one by one down these stairs. Under us was this viscous lava, it shot up like a geyser. Legolas was leading us down the stairs.
Once we got to the bridge There was a big blinding light, a firey orange colour. Legolas screamed “Oi oi!!! Gandalf!”. He was trying to warn us, there we saw it. A Balrog! With its aggressive snarl and its firey body lit up in flames, like a giant fiery demon with wings. It
snarled and looked at me with anger. It hissed and roared. Frodo and everyone else went to the other side of the bridge waiting for me, but I stood my ground. Frodo cried “Gandalf no!!”
I looked right into the beast’s, flaming eyes, and said “you cannot pass”. The beast pulled out it huge welded sword lit up on fire and swung at me, I pulled out my magic staff and push it against the blade and screamed “I am servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the flame of Anor, the dark fire will not avail you, flame of Udon!”. My magic staff pushed away and broke the Balrog’s mighty sword. It growled at me I yelled back at it “Go back to the shadow” It came closer, and it quickly pulled out its long flaming whip. Right as it was about to whip me, I screamed again “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!!” I hammered my staff into the bridge floor, breaking the other side where the Balrog was standing. As it fell into the darkness I walked
back. But when the beast fell it wiped its whip and pulled my ankle of the edge. I was holing on the end of the bridge for dear life, Frodo yelled “No!” I looked a them and said “Fly you fools” and let go, falling to the endless darkness at the bottom of the cave. I could still hear the echo of Frodo crying “Gandalf!” echoing down, down, down. The deep dark endless cave...
